Job Title: Field Sales Representative
Location: Lagos
Job Purpose
The Field Sales Representative (FSR) is responsible for driving sales and expanding the Bakers Choice product presence in assigned districts within Lagos.
This role involves building relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers, ensuring product visibility, and meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
The FSR will play a critical role in increasing brand awareness and customer loyalty through excellent service and strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:
Execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed set targets within assigned areas.
Identify, acquire, and onboard new distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners.
Conduct regular visits to existing clients to strengthen relationships and secure reorders.
Product Promotion and Merchandising:
Ensure Bakers Choice products are adequately stocked, visible, and well-displayed in retail and wholesale locations.
Coordinate in-store promotions and support product demonstrations to boost sales.
Educate retailers on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
Market Intelligence:
Gather and report market data, including competitor activities, pricing, and promotions.
Provide insights on market trends and customer feedback to help refine sales strategies.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build strong, positive relationships with clients, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
Act as the primary point of contact for Bakers Choice in assigned districts, delivering exceptional customer service.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the Area Sales Supervisor.
Key Qualifications
Education: Minimum of an HND or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 1-2 years of sales experience in FMCG, preferably in food products.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with excellent time management.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a field-based role.
Proficiency in using mobile devices and basic CRM software.

Compensation
Salary Range: N50,000 - N100,000 / month.
Competitive salary based on experience.
Commission: 3-5% commission on monthly sales revenue.
Incentives: Monthly bonuses for reaching or exceeding targets, with additional recognition for top performers.
