Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our real estate properties, ensuring optimal performance, tenant satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
• The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle financial responsibilities associated with property management. Previous experience with reputable real estate firms, especially Jide Taiwo, will be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities
Property Maintenance and Inspections:

• Schedule and conduct regular property inspections to assess and address maintenance needs.
• Coordinate repairs, improvements, and renovations with vendors and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.

Tenant Relations:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly.
• Manage lease agreements, renewals, and terminations, ensuring compliance with all terms.
• Conduct tenant screenings, background checks, and lease negotiations as required.

Financial Management:

• Prepare and manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure alignment with financial goals.
• Collect rent, manage payment records, and issue late payment notices when necessary.
• Provide monthly and annual reports on financial performance, occupancy rates, and other key metrics.

Marketing and Leasing:

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain high-quality tenants.
• Conduct property showings and create listings for available units or spaces.
• Maintain competitive market knowledge to set rental prices and maximize occupancy.

Legal and Compliance:

• Ensure properties comply with all local laws and regulations, including zoning, licensing, and tax requirements.
• Address and resolve tenant disputes and complaints in accordance with company policies and relevant laws.
• Coordinate eviction proceedings and legal actions when required.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain organized and up-to-date records, including leases, contracts, and tenant files.
• Utilize property management software for record-keeping, financial tracking, and reporting.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for property management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management.
• Familiarity with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Advantage: Previous experience working with Jide Taiwo or similar real estate firms.
