We are presently recruiting for an HVAC Supervisor with VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) system experience in an MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) company who will overseethe design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal person will:
Supervision of Installations:
Oversee the installation of VRF systems and other HVAC equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Coordinate with MEP engineers and technicians for proper alignment of systems.
Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of HVAC technicians, ensuring work is assigned and completed efficiently.
Provide training to the team on VRF systems, troubleshooting, and new technologies.
Project Management:
Plan, schedule, and monitor HVAC project activities to meet deadlines.
Ensure coordination with other trades like electrical and plumbing to avoid conflicts.
System Testing and Commissioning:
Supervise and conduct testing, balancing, and commissioning of HVAC systems, particularly VRF systems.
Ensure all systems are operational and meet performance benchmarks.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Develop preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC systems.
Address complex system issues, including refrigerant management in VRF systems.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with industry codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to design and performance requirements.
Implement corrective measures if deviations occur.
Client Interaction:
Provide technical support and solutions to client concerns.
Communicate progress and updates regarding HVAC-related tasks in projects.
Cost Management:
Monitor resource allocation, including materials and labor, to stay within budget constraints.
Optimize operations to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
Technical Expertise in VRF Systems:
Configure and troubleshoot VRF system controllers and communication networks.
Ensure proper refrigerant piping, electrical connections, and performance optimization specific to VRF systems.
Skills and Qualifications
Technical knowledge of HVAC systems, especially VRF technology is highly required.
Mechanical Engineering graduate is an added advantage.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
Leadership and organizational skills.
Strong communication and client-handling abilities.
