Job Title: Logistic Assistant

Locations: Lagos and Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Logistic Assistant supports the logistics and supply chain operations of the event rental services company. This includes coordinating the transportation, delivery, and retrieval of event rental items, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring timely and accurate logistical operations to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities
Transportation Coordination:

• Schedule and arrange the delivery and pickup of event rental items to and from clients.
• Coordinate with drivers and transport teams to ensure timely and efficient operations.
• Monitor the status of shipments and provide updates to the logistics manager.

Inventory Management:

• Assist in tracking and managing inventory levels of rental items.
• Ensure items are properly labeled, stored, and accounted for in the inventory system.
• Report damaged or missing items and arrange for replacements or repairs.

Loading and Unloading

• Assist with the loading and unloading of rental items at the warehouse and client locations.
• Ensure that items are handled carefully to prevent damage during transit.

Documentation and Record-Keeping

• Prepare delivery and pickup schedules, invoices, and packing lists.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistical operations, including delivery receipts and inventory logs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and client agreements.

Client Interaction

• Communicate with clients to confirm delivery and pickup times.
• Address client concerns or special requests related to logistics operations.

Maintenance of Vehicles and Equipment

• Monitor the condition of vehicles and logistics equipment, reporting any issues to the logistics manager.
• Schedule routine maintenance and ensure vehicles are in good working condition.

Compliance and Safety

• Adhere to safety protocols during loading, unloading, and transport operations.
• Ensure compliance with transportation laws and company policies.

Support for Event Setup

• Assist in setting up rental items at event venues as required.
• Ensure that all items are arranged according to client specifications.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an SSCE or Bachelor's Degree with 2-5 years experience.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 / Month
