With over 30 years of vision and expertise, the company specializes in breeder stock, hatchery development for day-old chicks, broiler rearing, feed milling, food processing, and soybean oil refining. Incorporated as a limited liability company in 2013, Sunchi Integrated Farms was fully incorporated as a limited liability company by the Nigerian Cooperate Affairs Commission on 5th December, 2013 under Nigerian Company and Allied Matters Act of 1990 obtaining Certificate of Incorporation No. RC.846601.

Job Summary
The HR Manager at Sunchi Integrated Farms will play a critical role in shaping and leading human resource strategies to support organizational goals.
With a focus on developing a positive work environment, you will oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and employee relations.
You will provide both strategic and operational HR support to ensure efficient implementation of policies, employee satisfaction, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract and retain top talent in line with business goals.
Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and induction to ensure new hires have a positive integration experience.
Manage workforce planning to meet current and future business needs, ensuring positions are filled in a timely manner.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting effective communication, engagement, and consultation with employees at all levels.
Handle employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions in compliance with company policy and labor laws.
Coordinate wellness programs and staff engagement events to improve morale, retention, and overall job satisfaction.
Implement and manage performance appraisal processes, including annual reviews, performance development plans, and career pathing.
Collaborate with department heads to establish individual and team KPIs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Provide guidance and training to managers on performance management best practices to promote continuous improvement and accountability.
Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and standards to ensure legal compliance and alignment with the company's goals.
Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring policies reflect the latest requirements.
Conduct regular audits of HR practices, documentation, and procedures to maintain high standards and legal compliance.
Identify and analyze training needs, designing and delivering effective development programs to enhance employee skills, productivity, and career advancement.
Oversee leadership development, succession planning, and talent management initiatives to build a skilled and adaptable workforce.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure that L&D initiatives align with business goals and employee career development.
Oversee payroll, benefits, and compensation policies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
Manage employee rewards and recognition programs, promoting a culture of achievement and accountability.
Utilize HRIS to track employee data, monitor key HR metrics, and generate regular reports to guide HR decision-making.
Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of HR data.
Provide regular reporting on HR activities, metrics, and trends to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in agriculture or FMCG.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance.
Proven experience in handling HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and learning & development.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to interpret HR data for informed decision-making.

Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office, and payroll software.
