Job Title: Project Auditor
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
Review the procedures, polices, and document used in the project management and Prepare a final account report of client’s project contract.
Evaluate, review and confirm the project contract work done and payment request and certifications align with the project contract terms and conditions.
Perform and Carried out system and control test on the contract records and process to detect any material abnormalities and make appropriate recommendation for corrections
Check any difference or dispute in contract payments whether overpayment or underpayment and offer resolution to all parties to the contract.
Review the procedure of free issue materials management of the project
Ensure project control and assurance
Ensure successful completion of the project on the given deadline. The functions should be carried out within the given auditing budget. Formulates policies, procedures, and guidelines for the assigned audit project and evaluates the overall condition of the project.
Plan and manage assigned audit projects according to established standards
Evaluate project processes and internal controls to identify gaps and risks.
Analyze root causes of control inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
Develop risk models to access and mitigate potential control risks and procedures.
Develop process improvements to improve the effectiveness and quality of deliverables.
Develop positive working relationships with management, client and team members.
Assist team in audit processes and issues as needed.
Review audit findings and prepare formal audit reports with recommendations.
Review audit recommendations with management and develop action plans.
Prepares special audit and control reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating information and trends.
Completes audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings.
To derive conclusions based on the audits conducted, maintain the documentation, records and papers related to the audit work of all projects.
Requirements
Minimum of First Degree or equivalent
ACA, ICMA, CPA or a forensic qualification post B.Sc are the required minimum qualifications.
5 years Audit Experience in a reputable Audit Firm.
10 years post professional qualification experience in the Oil and gas sector
Must be a Chartered Accountant
Forensic Audit experience
External Audit experience
Value for Money audit experience in oil and gas industry
Minimum 35 years of age
Should be an audit Manager in current position
Forensic and Value Experience is an added advantage
Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience.
