Job Summary
We are looking for an innovative and experienced creative video specialist to join our fast-growing marketing team at Spacefinish.
As the Creative Director - Video Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative vision and direction that communicates the impact of our business and projects - driving innovation, solving strategic business challenges and delivering exceptional workspace solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality video content, ensuring creative excellence, and supporting our goal of becoming a global design and workspace innovation company.
You will collaborate closely with a team of talented architects/designers, marketing experts and product team to translate how we bring our clients' vision to life and its positive impact on people at large.
Principal Duties / Responsibilities
General Responsibilities:
Lead the storytelling, creative direction and vision for all project documentaries, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand identity.
As a creative director and video specialist, you will ensure the production of high-quality creative work that enhances the reputation of the Spacefinish brand.
Have deep understanding of manning a robust full multi-media production including post-production activities such as editing, motion, animations, color grading, etc.
Collaborate closely with the marketing and design team to translate complex concepts and ideas into compelling visual content that resonates with our target audience.
Oversee the development of creative assets, including digital materials, website content, social media posts, video scripts, and more, ensuring high-quality and consistency across all channels.
Video Production & Multi-Platform Content Creation:
Create and edit high-quality video content tailored for YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram, ensuring exceptional visual and audio quality.
Develop engaging content that adheres to the best practices for each platform, focusing on audience growth, discoverability, and engagement.
Channel Management & Strategy:
Lead the management of the YouTube channel, including content scheduling, SEO optimization (titles, tags, descriptions, thumbnails), and audience engagement strategies to maximize reach and subscriber growth.
Stay up-to-date on YouTube and LinkedIn algorithms and trends to drive channel performance and optimize monetization strategies.
Develop and execute video strategies for YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram, understanding the nuances of each platform’s algorithms, audience behaviours, and content trends.
Track and analyze video performance, providing insights and actionable recommendations to continually improve results.
Creative Development:
Work according to creative briefs, pitch new ideas, and develop video formats that align with platform trends and project objectives.
Experiment with new video styles and formats to enhance engagement across multiple social media platforms.
Editing & Quality Control:
Ensure high standards in editing across platforms, including video quality, soundtrack selection, text placement, and overall storytelling for YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Copyright Compliance:
Secure necessary rights and clearances for video, image, and soundtrack usage to prevent copyright infringement across all social media platforms.
Project Management:
Manage multiple content projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively to meet deadlines and maintain a consistent upload schedule.
Footage Organization:
Ensure proper organization and archiving of video content for easy access and future use across all platforms.
Collaboration:
Build strong relationships with internal teams and clients, ensuring clear communication, alignment with brand messaging, and smooth workflows.
Qualifications And Experience
Educational/Professional Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Creative, Film, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required if portfolio and experience are exceptional).
Experience:
3 - 4 years proven experience in video content creation with a strong portfolio across YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Demonstrated expertise in YouTube channel management, including content creation, publishing, audience growth, and monetization.
Experience in managing video content on YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram, with a deep understanding of platform-specific trends, algorithms, and strategies.
Skills And Competency Requirements:
Storytelling: Ability to develop and execute compelling storytelling that resonate with audiences, leading end-to-end video production from ideation through to final editing, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
Creative Thinking: Ability to pitch and execute creative ideas that align with platform trends and brand objectives.
Platform Expertise: Strong knowledge of YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram, with a proven track record in video publishing and audience engagement.
Video Editing Expertise: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with knowledge of post-production tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
Project & Time Management: Capable of managing multiple briefs and deadlines while maintaining a consistent video release schedule.
Analytics & Insights: Skilled in interpreting video performance analytics and leveraging data to optimize content and distribution strategies.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with teams and clients, ensuring clear alignment and smooth workflows.
Organization & Attention to Detail: Highly organized, with a keen eye for detail in editing, metadata optimisation, and copyright compliance.
