Job Title: PIR / Foam Glass CNC Machine Specialist

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The CNC machine specialist will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of CNC machinery in the fabrication workshop.
• This role involves working with a team of fabricators and technicians to ensure that the machines operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• CNC programming, data entry, and PIR/foam glass blocks fabrication using various pass profiles.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and PPE standards and procedures, aiming for zero accidents.
• Execute maintenance and inspections of CNC machines in compliance with the agreed maintenance concept (workflow control).
• Provide prompt support to resolve machine breakdowns.
• Ensure faulty components are repaired and available for reuse.
• Assist in organizing maintenance stoppages, overhauls, and other maintenance activities.
• Keep machines, tools, and workshop in optimal condition.
• Identify maintenance components (consumable spare parts) to keep in stock, focusing on the dedicated work area (machine).

Requirements

• First degree or its equivalent in mechanical engineering, a related discipline, or NABTEB.
• At least 5 years of post-NYSC practical, job-relevant experience in a well-structured manufacturing company, with specific expertise in using CNC machines for PIR/foam glass cutting.
• Proficient in the use of machinery maintenance and repair tools and equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
