We are looking for a skilled Sound Engineer who will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless, high-quality audio experience during our worship services, events, and recordings.

Job Title: Sound Engineer

Location: Ringroad - Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Part-time

Job Summary

• The Empowered Tribe is seeking a skilled Sound Engineer to be an integral part of our church team. If you're a passionate and experienced professional in operating sound systems for live events, proficient in audio mixing, troubleshooting, and equipment management, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage sound equipment, including digital and analog soundboards, microphones, speakers, and in-ear monitors, for worship services and events.
• Conduct sound checks with worship leaders, musicians, and speakers to ensure clarity and balance in audio quality.
• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively to maintain a seamless worship experience.
• Set up, calibrate, and test all audio equipment before services and events.
• Mix live sound for both in-person and online streaming, maintaining consistent audio quality across platforms.
• Collaborate with the worship and media teams to create an immersive worship environment.
• Maintain and organize sound equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
• Assist with audio recording and editing as needed for worship content.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 2 - 15 years experience.
• Proven experience in operating sound systems for live events, ensuring optimal audio experiences.
• Proficient in audio mixing, mastering the art of balancing various elements for top-notch sound quality.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently, ensuring uninterrupted sound for all church activities.
• Proficient in managing and maintaining audio equipment, ensuring all systems are in top condition for services and events.
• Demonstrated excellence and proficiency in sound engineering for live events.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with the technical team, church leadership, and volunteers.
• Availability for all church services, programs, and events.

Salary
N60,000 Monthly.
