Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Operations Manager L3 to lead and enhance our operations, ensuring efficient and effective business processes across departments.
This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive knowledge of operational management, business process improvement, and team leadership.
As an Operations Manager L3, you will work closely with the Operations Director to streamline processes, manage resources, and drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:
Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and high productivity across departments.
Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and ensure operational efficiency.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Collaborate with the Operations Director and other senior leaders to develop and execute strategic plans.
Contribute to the development of long-term operational strategies that align with organizational goals.
Identify, evaluate, and implement new systems and processes to improve productivity and profitability.
Resource Management:
Manage resource allocation, ensuring optimal utilization of staff, equipment, and materials.
Develop staffing plans to meet operational needs and participate in hiring, training, and performance management.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource distribution and ensure deadlines are met.
Financial Oversight:
Oversee budget planning and management for operational departments, monitoring expenditures to stay within budget.
Work with the finance team to develop cost-saving initiatives and ensure financial efficiency.
Generate regular financial and operational reports for senior management.
Risk Management and Compliance:
Ensure operational activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Identify potential risks within operations and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Conduct regular audits and quality assessments to maintain high standards of operation.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor a team of managers and supervisors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
Organize training sessions and workshops to improve team skills and knowledge.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations, using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
Implement new technologies and tools to enhance efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Encourage a culture of innovation and problem-solving within the team.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role.
Strong understanding of operational and business processes, with experience in process optimization.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record in managing diverse teams.
Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
Proficiency in using operations management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, project management tools).
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Business Administration or Operations Management.
Certified in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
Experience with change management and implementing large-scale operational changes.
