Job Title: Pharmaceutical Project Lead
Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Remote Working)
Job Summary
The Pharmaceutical Project Lead is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of strategic plans for pharmaceutical products or therapeutic areas, in alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee the development and implementation of strategic plans for Pharmaceutical Projects in alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, and status reports.
Lead and supervise a team of Pharmaceutical Professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution and achievement of business objectives.
Lead project review meetings and implement necessary changes.
Manage Pharmaceutical project budgets, timelines, and resources.
Collaborate cross-functionally with various Units to ensure project alignment with company goals and to drive product development and commercialization efforts.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, quality standards, and company policies throughout the pharmaceutical product lifecycle.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Stay abreast with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes that may impact pharmaceutical projects.
Represent the company at conferences, workshops, meetings, and other industry events to enhance visibility and build strategic partnerships.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Project Management or related field;
Experience:
Proven work experience in managing Pharmaceutical Projects or similar role.
Strong knowledge of drug development processes, regulatory requirements, quality standards and industry best practices.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
Relevant experience in the manufacturing or consultancy industry is a plus.
Proven experience in project management within the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven ability to work in a laboratory for long periods of time.
Ability to work on new pharmaceutical products from conceptualization to launch.
Experience working in a pharmaceutical environment.
Ability to develop innovative pharmaceutical products.
Skills:
Ability to organize work schedules on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Ability to think on feet, plan and prioritize work by deadlines.
Excellent Leadership, Communication and Interpersonal skills.
Excellent Presentation and Report Writing skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical and research skills.
Proficient in pharma technology software.
