Description
We are looking for a talented Territory Sales - Field Sales Account Executive to join our team specializing in Sales for our Distribution Business Unit in Ikeja, Nigeria.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Prospecting and Developing Opportunities: You’ll identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving growth and expanding the company’s market presence.
Executing Account Plans: With coaching support, you’ll develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales goals and enhance customer engagement.
Achieving Sales Targets: By meeting and exceeding sales goals within your assigned territory or market segment, you’ll contribute to the company’s overall success.
Building Customer Relationships: You’ll establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored Cummins solutions.
Negotiating and Managing Accounts: You’ll conduct negotiations in line with company guidelines, assist with accounts receivables, and ensure timely resolution of delinquent payments.
Driving Customer Satisfaction: By responding promptly to customer concerns and maintaining high levels of satisfaction, you’ll foster loyalty and repeat business.
Utilizing Sales Tools and Processes: Consistently using the Cummins Sales Process and tools like Customer Relationship Management, you’ll support sales and customer value initiatives.
Balancing Inventory and Delivery: Collaborating with internal stakeholders, you’ll ensure that inventory, service, and delivery capabilities meet customer expectations, enhancing overall efficiency.
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Sales Forecasting Skills: The ability to collect and analyse customer data from various sources, compare it with historical data, and create accurate forecasts of future consumption patterns.
Sales Pipeline Management: Proactive planning and execution of sales strategies at the account or territory level, evaluating the health of the sales pipeline, and adjusting strategies as needed to achieve sales objectives.
Sense Making: Strong diagnostic and probing skills to understand customer needs, behaviours, and buying journeys. You should be able to synthesize complex information to deliver tailored solutions.
Adaptability to Target Audience: The capability to explain complex topics in a way that is understandable and useful to different audiences, whether they are sales professionals, customers, or training vendors.
Educational Qualification and Experience
College, University, or equivalent Degree in Marketing, Sales or a related subject, or acceptable sales related work experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Basic relevant work experience preferred.
