Job Title: Service Administrator (Engineering Background)

Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and technically-minded Service Administrator to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with engineering teams and contribute to operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of technical concepts, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.
You will play a key role in managing service orders, coordinating with engineering teams, and ensuring smooth communication between our customers and technical staff.
Key Responsibilities
Service Order Management: Process and manage service requests, ensuring all required documentation and technical details are accurately captured and communicated.
Customer Interaction: Serve as the point of contact for customers regarding service inquiries, order status, and technical assistance.
Engineering Support: Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Assist with technical documentation, parts requisition, and troubleshooting.
Data Management & Reporting: Maintain service records, track performance metrics, and generate reports for management. Ensure all data is updated in the service management system.
Inventory & Parts Coordination: Assist in managing inventory levels of spare parts and materials. Coordinate the timely procurement and delivery of required parts for service requests.
Scheduling & Logistics: Coordinate scheduling of service visits, technician assignments, and logistics for on-site support.
Quality Control: Ensure that service requests meet quality standards and that any issues are escalated appropriately for resolution.
Customer Satisfaction: Monitor customer feedback and service delivery to ensure the highest level of satisfaction. Address any service issues promptly and efficiently.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent technical background.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a technical or administrative role, preferably in an engineering or service-based environment. Previous experience in service administration, logistics, or project coordination is a plus.
Technical Skills: Solid understanding of engineering concepts and technical terminology. Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and product manuals.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong time management skills.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with customers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Computer Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and service management software (e.g., SAP, CRM systems, etc.). Familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Service Coordination: Previous experience in service administration or project coordination within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to resolve technical and administrative issues.
Customer-Focused: A proactive and customer-oriented mindset with a passion for providing excellent service.
Salary
N100,000 - N110,000 monthly.
