Tezza Business Solutions Limited is a leading Software Quality Assurance and Testing multinational with a regional office in Lagos, Nigeria. We are a Software Quality Assurance and Testing Services provider. Our primary goal is to be the "go to" Quality Assurance & Software Testing company in East and West Africa while developing offshore resources to fill test automation positions (and other hard to find software testing capabilities) in the North America and European markets.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Site Manager Intern

Location: Lagos
Position Type: Internship
Reports To: Site Manager / Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Manager Intern to support our construction and interior design projects.
  • This position is ideal for a candidate with approximately 1 year of experience in construction or interior design, who is looking to gain hands-on experience in site management.
  • The intern will work closely with senior site managers and project teams to ensure smooth on-site operations, adherence to timelines, and project quality.

Key Responsibilities
Site Coordination and Support:

  • Assist in coordinating daily on-site activities, ensuring that all project phases progress on schedule.
  • Support the site manager in overseeing contractors, vendors, and workers to ensure adherence to project requirements.

Quality Control:

  • Conduct routine inspections to maintain high standards of work and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to the site manager and help implement corrective actions.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, material usage, and labor hours.
  • Assist with compiling site reports for project updates and reviews.

Safety Management:

  • Support on-site health and safety initiatives, ensuring that all team members follow safety protocols.
  • Help identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.

Inventory and Material Management:

  • Track and manage material deliveries and usage, ensuring that supplies are available as needed.
  • Report any shortages or quality concerns with materials to the site manager.

Client and Team Communication:

  • Collaborate with the project team, contractors, and clients to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals.
  • Serve as a point of contact on-site for questions or issues that arise, escalating concerns as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Approximately 1 year of relevant experience in a construction or interior design company.
  • Basic knowledge of construction and interior design processes, materials, and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Procore) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

Salary
N120,000 / month.
