Job Overview
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance & Admin Manager to oversee their financial operations and support efficient administrative functions.
This role involves managing budgets, financial reporting, cash flow, and compliance, as well as handling daily administrative operations.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in strategic financial planning, resource management, and process optimization, contributing to the achievement of business objectives with integrity, analytical ability, and discretion in handling confidential information.
Responsibilties
Financial Management:
Oversee all financial transactions, including invoicing, expense tracking, and payroll administration, to maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
Budget Oversight and Cost Management:
Develop, monitor, and report on financial budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation.
Review expenses to identify areas for cost reduction and support budget planning with actionable insights.
Prepare variance analyses to compare budgeted vs. actual expenditures and recommend corrective actions.
Office and Facility Management:
Ensure effective office management, including procurement of materials and supplies, and maintain a conducive and safe work environment.
Oversee facility management functions, including vendor management, safety protocols, and upkeep of premises.
Compliance and Regulatory Management:
Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, including tax filings, pension remittances, and health insurance contributions.
Manage relationships with regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and auditors to facilitate compliance and timely reporting.
Administrative Support:
Oversee document management, ensuring accurate filing, storage, and retrieval of financial and administrative records.
Manage internal and external communication channels, maintain updated contact lists, and handle confidential correspondence.
Vendor and Contract Management:
Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely processing of invoices, service agreements, and payment reconciliations.
Negotiate terms and manage contracts to support operational efficiency and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned by the Managing Director to support financial and administrative needs.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management and administration, preferably within a corporate environment.
Professional certifications in finance or accounting (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) are an advantage.
Professional Membership: ICAN, ACCA.
