Tongyi Allied Mining Limited, was established in 1997. It was headquartered in Romania and its subsidiaries are throughout Europe, Asia and Africa. At present, Tongyi Allied Mining Ltd. is headquartered in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria and sets up offices in the States of Lagos, Bauchi, Plateau, Zamfara, Ogun and Ebonyi.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Driver

Location: Jabi, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Safely drive company vehicles to transport employees, clients, products, and materials to designated destinations.
• Plan and follow efficient routes based on schedules, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.
• Conduct regular checks on the vehicle's condition, including oil, tires, brakes, and other essential components. Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, both inside and out.
• Maintain accurate records offuel consumption, and maintenance.
• Follow all road safety rules and company policies. Ensure that passengers wear seat belts.
• Safely load and unload goods as required, following proper lifting techniques and safety protocols.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents immediately to the relevant supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients, ensuring a professional and
• Assist with any emergency situations that may arise during travel, including basic vehicle troubleshooting or arranging alternative transportation if necessary.

Qualifications

• A minimum of secondary school certificate.
• Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a professional or commercial setting.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to lift heavy packages (if applicable), and sit for extended periods.
• Ready to be a Live-in driver as accomodation will be provided.
