We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales & Onboarding Assistant

Location: Remote (Senatorial Districts across Nigeria)
Employment Type: Full-time

Overview

  • We are seeking proactive and dedicated Sales & Onboarding Assistants to support the Sales & Onboarding Officers in their efforts to engage learners, drive sales, and onboard clients onto our Learning Management System (LMS). Reporting directly to the Sales & Onboarding Officers and indirectly to the Sales & Onboarding Managers, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of sales and onboarding activities.
  • This position offers a great opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in sales and customer service, with flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Support:

  • Assist Sales & Onboarding Officers in identifying potential learners and promoting Gakanke’s course offerings.
  • Help manage the pipeline of potential learners by conducting initial outreach (via phone, email, social media, etc.).
  • Prepare and organize sales materials and presentations to support the sales process.
  • Track and follow up on prospective learners to ensure they are progressing through the sales funnel.

Onboarding Assistance:

  • Support learners during the onboarding process by providing guidance on account creation, course registration, and platform usage.
  • Address basic learner questions and escalate any complex inquiries to the Sales & Onboarding Officers or Managers as needed.
  • Ensure that all new learners have the necessary resources to successfully access their courses on the LMS.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain accurate records of learner interactions, enrollment statuses, and sales activities.
  • Assist in compiling and submitting sales and onboarding reports to the Sales & Onboarding Officers.
  • Help with scheduling meetings, virtual demos, and other activities aimed at promoting course adoption.

Market Research & Feedback:

  • Conduct basic market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential client segments within the senatorial district.
  • Collect and report learner feedback to improve onboarding processes and course offerings.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Coordinate closely with Sales & Onboarding Officers to ensure smooth communication and execution of sales strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with the Sales & Onboarding Managers to provide updates on daily activities and overall learner engagement.
  • Work as part of a cohesive team to achieve sales and onboarding targets.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (B.Sc./Diploma in Marketing, Business, or related field is a plus).
  • Prior experience in a sales, administrative, or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Basic familiarity with online learning platforms and digital tools.
  • Highly organized, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
