We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ode-Remo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our outsourcing firm.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services to our clients, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Core Functions

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for clients
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to clients
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Collaborate with clients to understand their accounting needs and provide customized solutions
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
• A working Laptop
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in an outsourcing firm
• Professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) and Microsoft Office.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with financial planning and budgeting
• Knowledge of taxation laws and regulations
• Experience with auditing and financial reporting
• Certification in accounting software (QuickBooks ProAdvisor, etc.).
