This role is freelance-based, and the freelance writer is responsible for creating content for different purposes at our company.
Such content includes articles, interviews, features, news, newsletters, advertising copies, social media content, etc.
In addition, they may be required to perform specific responsibilities linked to creating content for different platforms and make suggestions to improve the overall content creation process.
Job Description
As a Freelance Writer, you will create and manage content that informs, engages, and are result-oriented.
You will develop content strategies, research, and write content for various media and purposes, such as online campaigns, websites, videos, podcasts, and social media.
You will also optimize your content for search engines and user experience.
Your work requires you to work closely with other team members and departments to develop content strategies that align with our company’s goals.
Finally, you should be ready to make improvements based on feedback.
Responsibilities
Create different forms of content, including but not limited to articles, interviews, features, news, newsletters, advertising copies, social media content, etc.
Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics and generate ideas for new content types.
Prepare well-structured drafts using content management systems.
Edit and proofread content before sending it out for further work.
Ensure consistency in style, tone, and voice across all content channels for each brand.
Optimize content for search engines and user experience when writing.
Distribute content through various platforms, such as social media, email, or the website.
Work with feedback from different stakeholders and use such information to make improvements as required.
Upload content to content management systems and scheduling tools.
Also check same systems and tools for insights that will be used to create better content in the future.
Understand and create content strategies, as well as transform them into quality content to improve engagement and generate more results.
Submit content via the required channels.
Proofread your work for errors and inaccuracies.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Communication or a related field.
Proven track record as a writer with at least two years experience.
Teachability.
Demonstrable success with content development.
Have a firm grasp of content marketing.
Have an in-depth knowledge of marketing analytics.
In-depth knowledge of CRM software and Content Management Systems (CMS).
Familiarity with SEO/SEM and Google Analytics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Comfortable working with metrics and KPIs.
Experience in collaborating with cross-functional groups.
Avoid plagiarism and AI-generated content.
Prior writing experience, preferably as a freelancer.
