Job Description
The Odoo Business Development Manager / Sales Lead will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts related to Odoo ERP solutions.
You will work closely with both our sales and technical teams to identify new prospects, build relationships, and close deals.
Your primary focus will be to establish Artech2000 as a trusted partner for Odoo implementations and services while meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation:
Identify and target new business opportunities in the Odoo market, both within existing accounts and through new customer acquisition.
Conduct research to understand client needs and position Odoo solutions as the ideal fit.
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and referrals.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Lead the sales cycle from initial prospecting to closing, including presentations, product demonstrations, and proposal creation.
Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and marketing efforts, ensuring effective lead generation and brand awareness.
Collaborate with the technical team to assess client requirements and provide tailored Odoo solutions that meet their business needs.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organisations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, ensuring exceptional service and communication.
Maintain post-sale relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
Sales Targets & Reporting:
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Odoo implementations and related services.
Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and conversion rates using CRM tools.
Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, opportunities, and market trends.
Product Knowledge & Training:
Stay up-to-date with Odoo's product offerings and updates, as well as industry trends, in order to effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.
Continuously improve your understanding of Odoo solutions to offer knowledgeable, consultative guidance to clients.
Collaboration & Cross-functional Teamwork:
Work closely with internal teams including sales support, marketing, and project management to ensure smooth sales-to-implementation handoff.
Contribute to the development of marketing materials, sales collateral, and presentations to support business development efforts.
Qualifications
Proven experience in business development or sales within the ERP, software, or technology sector (experience with Odoo is a plus).
Strong knowledge of the Odoo ecosystem, including its modules and functionalities, or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new ERP systems.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to build and nurture client relationships and manage long-term sales processes.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with technical staff to customise solutions.
Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decisions and strategy.
A passion for technology and the ability to understand and convey complex software solutions to a wide range of audiences.
