Job Summary

• BakeRight Traditions is looking for a reliable and motivated Bakery Assistant to support our baking team in producing high-quality baked goods.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative environment.
• As a Bakery Assistant, you will help with ingredient preparation, assist in baking, packaging products, decorating processes, and ensure that bakery workstations remain clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for a variety of baked goods, including cakes, cookies, pastries, and breads
• Support in the baking process, following recipes and ensuring consistency in product quality
• Help decorate products to meet BakeRight Traditions’ quality standards
• Package baked goods and assist with labeling for display and delivery orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet freshness and quality standards
• Receive and organize inventory, monitor supplies, and report any shortages to the supervisor

Qualifications

• Age Requirements - Below 30
• Willingness to learn, ability to follow instructions.
• Basic understanding of baking techniques and food safety practices
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting moderately heavy objects
