We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Manager (Luxury Interior Design and Furniture)

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Head of Growth

Job Summary

  • Your responsibility is to drive growth and exceed sales targets by adeptly leading the sales team, nurturing a culture of competitiveness, and fostering innovation within the organization.
  • This entails developing and implementing a strategic sales plan aimed at broadening the customer base and bolstering the company's market presence.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • You will develop and execute strategic sales plans that are in line with the business goals and objectives.
  • You will set sales objectives by forecasting and establishing annual sales quotas for various regions and territories, projecting anticipated sales volume and profit for both existing and new products.
  • You will take charge of opening new sales outlets and ensure they yield a positive return on investment.
  • It is your responsibility to stay abreast of sales data, stay current with market trends, and understand customer needs.
  • You will maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by staying informed about supply and demand dynamics, evolving trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • You will formulate actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.
  • You will demonstrate superior consultative sales skills and possess an excellent understanding of products and their benefits.
  • You will monitor sales and profitability for each product
  • You will deliver comprehensive sales, revenue, and expense reports, along with realistic forecasts, to the management team.
  • You will conduct sales presentations for clients, showcasing the business's success and the credibility of its products.
  • You will provide pricing information to management and offer recommendations.
  • You will map potential customers and dealers, generating valuable leads for the organization.
  • You will translate sales strategy into measurable goals for performance and growth.
  • It is your responsibility to monitor the performance of all products, track and maintain records to ensure inventory control, cost containment, and appropriate stock levels.
  • You will cultivate and nurture trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • You will cultivate a corporate culture that fosters performance excellence and uplifts morale.
  • You will oversee and lead the sales team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure individual and team success
  • You will motivate team members to collaborate effectively toward achieving sales targets and delivering desired results.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align strategies, share insights, and ensure cohesive execution.
  • In collaboration with HR, you will attract, recruit, and retain necessary members of the sales team who are currently not in place
  • You will ensure meticulous adherence to the process manual and sale flow chart.
  • You will positively represent the company at all times through a success-oriented and professional demeanour.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the interior design and home improvement industry in providing high-quality ambiance fittings and interior solutions.
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Possess strategic planning and execution skills to increase the customer base and drive market presence.
  • Must have good client relationship skills, building trust with key stakeholders, and delivering sales presentations.

Salary budget
N400,000 Net/ month.
