Job Summary
The consumer insights analyst will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and presenting insights about our target consumer base to support business decisions.
This role involves conducting primary and secondary research, interpreting data, and turning findings into actionable recommendations that enhance marketing strategies, product development, and overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Research:
Design and execute primary research studies, including surveys, focus groups, and interviews, to gather consumer insights.
Leverage secondary research sources to understand market trends, the competitive landscape, and consumer behavior.
Data Analysis:
Analyze consumer data to identify trends, preferences, and pain points.
Segment consumer data to understand distinct groups and develop targeted strategies.
Use statistical and analytical tools to interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
Reporting and Insights Presentation:
Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights for marketing, product, and executive teams.
Prepare and deliver presentations that communicate insights, trends, and recommendations effectively.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with marketing, product, sales, and other teams to align research initiatives with business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement insights into campaigns, product features, and customer experiences.
Trend Monitoring:
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape.
Identify emerging trends and opportunities to help the company adapt to changing consumer preferences.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Experimental Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, Business, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is a plus.
Experience:
2 - 4 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, data analysis, or a related role.
Experience in B2C or eCommerce industries is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
knowledge of survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey) and familiarity with CRM systems.
KeyCompetencies:
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights.
