Job Title: Fullstack Developer (Mid-level)

Job Description

• Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic team in Kano, Nigeria.
• The ideal candidate will be proficient in both frontend and backend development, with a strong focus on ReactJS, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, PHP, Laravel, and Django.
• A basic understanding of mobile app development is also required, as you will occasionally be involved in mobile app projects. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely part-time while ensuring a strong physical presence at our Kano office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using ReactJS, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, PHP, Laravel, and Django.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions.
• Work on both the front-end and back-end of web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs into web applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Assist in the development of mobile applications (basic knowledge required).
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest improvements and new approaches.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to meet project
• deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: ReactJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong knowledge of back-end technologies: NodeJS, PHP, and Django.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Basic understanding of mobile app development (React Native, Flutter, or similar technologies).
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with mobile-first responsive design.
• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
