Job Title: Mixologist

Job Summary
The Mixologist is responsible for crafting innovative and classic cocktails, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests at the Clubhouse, restaurant, and events.
This role requires a professional with a keen eye for detail, knowledge of diverse drink recipes, and a passion for customer service excellence.
The Mixologist will also manage bar inventory, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and work collaboratively with the rest of the food and beverage team to enhance the company’s reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Cocktail Preparation and Service:
Create and serve beverages, including signature cocktails, classics, and customized drinks.
Provide knowledgeable and engaging service to guests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Menu Development:
Develop and maintain an innovative cocktail menu, considering seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and industry trends.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to pair cocktails with food menus for events and daily service.
Inventory and Stock Management:
Monitor and manage bar inventory levels to prevent shortages and wastage.
Coordinate with suppliers and place orders as necessary to maintain sufficient stock.
Hygiene and Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
Ensure all bar areas and equipment are cleaned and sanitised regularly.
Event and Function Support:
Provide specialised mixology services for private events and functions.
Tailor drink menus to event themes, customer specifications, and special requests.
Training and Mentorship:
Mentor junior bar staff in cocktail preparation, presentation, and customer service.
Ensure team knowledge of new drink recipes and menu items.
Educational Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certification in Mixology or Bartending from a recognised institution (preferred).
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a mixologist or bartender in a high-end bar, restaurant, or private club environment.
Proven expertise in creating both classic and signature cocktails.
Experience working in a hospitality setting with a focus on private clubhouses or high-end clientele is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
Technical Skills:
Advanced knowledge of drink mixing techniques, cocktail recipes, and bar equipment.
Strong understanding of liquor, wine, and beer varieties.
Excellent ability to measure, pour, and garnish cocktails accurately.

Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on providing a welcoming and personalized guest experience.
Ability to engage with and anticipate guest preferences.
Attention to Detail:
Ability to ensure high-quality presentation and consistency in cocktail preparation.
Keen awareness of cleanliness and safety standards in a bar environment.

Effective communication skills to interact with guests and work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff.
Strong organizational skills to manage time, prioritise tasks, and handle multiple orders efficiently.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to resolve guest issues calmly and efficiently.
Creative approach to developing new cocktails and adjusting to customer requests.
