Job Summary
The Demand and Supply Planner will be responsible for overseeing the forecasting and planning activities for both the demand and supply sides of AACE Foods’ supply chain.
This role will ensure accurate and timely forecasting to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and ensuring supply continuity.
The ideal candidate willcollaborate closely with all stakeholders, including procurement, production, logistics, sales, and marketing teams, to align demand and supply planning with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
He/She will:
Developing and maintaining demand forecasts in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.
Analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and business intelligence to create accurate demand plans.
Monitoring demand fluctuations and adjusting forecasts to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
Leading monthly demand planning meetings to review and align forecasts with all stakeholders.
Collaborating with procurement and production teams to ensure supply plans align with demand forecasts.
Ensuring optimal inventory levels across the supply chain, balancing customer needs with operational efficiency.
Identifying potential supply risks and proactively develop mitigation plans.
Monitoring inventory turnover, stockouts, and overstock situations, and recommend adjustments to ensure smooth operations.
Working closely with sales, marketing, procurement, warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure cohesive planning across the supply chain.
Facilitating cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and supply plans.
Serving as the main point of contact for all demand and supply planning-related matters, providing clear communication to senior management and other departments.
Providing regular reports on forecast accuracy, supply chain efficiency, and inventory performance to senior management.
Continuously improving the demand and supply planning processes by leveraging data analytics and industry best practices.
Identifying opportunities to enhance demand and supply planning processes through automation, technology, or procedural changes.
Implementing best practices in demand forecasting and supply chain management to support AACE Foods’ growth and operational excellence.Work on continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to cost optimization and increased efficiency.
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree and/or certifications in supply chain management is an advantage.
At least 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a related role in a food processing or FMCG environment.
Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar), advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of supply chain best practices.
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make strategic recommendations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing supply chain challenges.
Proven ability to manage projects, lead cross-functional meetings and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
