The Marketing Executive will drive the marketing and outreach efforts for the care home, focusing on promoting its services to prospective clients, healthcare professionals, and the community. With a strong background in nursing, the candidate will use their clinical knowledge and expertise to effectively communicate the care home’s value, services, and care standards.
The role involves developing marketing strategies, fostering relationships with referral sources, and educating potential clients about the care home’s services.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the care home’s services to potential clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Plan and execute digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including social media, email, print, and events, to raise awareness of the care home.
Highlight the unique aspects of the care home’s services, such as specialized care for the elderly, dementia care, palliative care, and rehabilitation programs.
Relationship Building & Referral Networks:
Build and maintain relationships with key referral sources, including hospitals, doctors, healthcare professionals, and community organizations.
Leverage nursing knowledge to engage with healthcare professionals and ensure they understand the care home’s capabilities in providing high-quality care.
Attend healthcare and community events to network with potential clients and referral sources, representing the care home.
Client Education & Consultations:
Provide information and consultations to prospective residents and their families about the care home’s services, helping them make informed decisions.
Utilize nursing experience to educate clients about the care home’s specialized services, such as medication management, chronic disease care, and mobility assistance.
Conduct tours of the care home, showcasing its facilities and explaining the care plans available for different client needs.
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs in the local community.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies to improve outcomes.
Analyze client feedback and preferences to shape marketing messages and improve the care home’s service offerings.
Collaboration with Clinical Teams:
Collaborate with nursing and care teams to ensure marketing strategies align with the care home’s mission and service capabilities.
Use nursing expertise to bridge communication between clinical staff and the marketing team, ensuring consistent messaging about services.
Gather insights from care teams to highlight patient success stories and showcase the care home’s impact on residents' health and well-being.
Compliance & Ethical Marketing:
Ensure all marketing activities comply with healthcare regulations and ethical standards, particularly in terms of representing the care home’s services accurately.
Follow best practices in patient confidentiality when sharing testimonials, success stories, or patient experiences in marketing materials.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) or a related field. A marketing qualification or training is an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in healthcare settings.
Strong understanding of healthcare services, patient care, and the care home industry.
Experience in marketing, healthcare outreach, or community engagement is an advantage but not mandatory.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
