Job Title: Sales Supervisor

Location: Warri, Delta

Job Summary

  • As a Sales Supervisor with 3 years of experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, you likely have a strong foundation in managing sales teams, optimizing processes, and achieving targets.
  • Below is a general outline of what your experience and responsibilities may involve, which you can use to highlight your strengths in a CV, interview, or career development discussion:

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Management: Oversee a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, guidance, and performance reviews. You may have also been responsible for recruitment and onboarding new team members.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Work with the sales team to ensure that sales targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are met. This involves setting achievable goals, tracking progress, and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail accounts, distributors, and clients. Your role may have involved understanding customer needs and ensuring the company's products were well-represented in retail channels.
  • Market Analysis & Strategy Development: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to devise sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Inventory & Stock Management: Coordinate with inventory and supply chain teams to ensure the timely availability of products and optimal stock levels across key locations.
  • Promotions & Product Launches: Plan and execute promotional activities and new product launches to increase market share and drive brand visibility.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare sales reports for senior management, analyzing performance metrics and providing forecasts for future sales and business growth.
  • Training & Development: Organize training programs for sales team members on new products, sales techniques, and customer service to improve performance.

Key Skills:

  • Sales Management: Effective in managing sales teams, setting clear objectives, and driving results through motivation and leadership.
  • Customer Focus: Skilled in customer relationship building and understanding the dynamics of retail and consumer needs.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficient in using sales data, market research, and consumer insights to drive strategies and decision-making.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with clients and stakeholders effectively.

  • FMCG Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the FMCG landscape, including product cycles, market segmentation, and distribution channels.

Salary
N200,000 per month + incentive + travel expense.
