Job Title: Security Operations Manager

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Security Operations Manager to lead and manage security operations across our Lagos and Abuja offices.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all security-related activities, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and facilities, and implementing effective security protocols.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures.
• Oversee day-to-day security operations, including access control, surveillance, and emergency response.
• Manage and coordinate security personnel, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with local and international security regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
• Monitor security systems and respond to incidents promptly and effectively.
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies, security providers, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare security reports, including incident reports and risk assessments.
• Plan and execute security measures for high-profile events and VIP visits.
• Ensure effective crisis management and business continuity plans are in place.

Job Specifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Criminology, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 - 12 years of experience in a security management role, preferably in corporate or high-risk environments.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a large team.
• In-depth knowledge of security protocols, emergency response, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in critical situations.
• Familiarity with relevant security technologies, including CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm systems.
