Job Description

• The Floor Manager at RoboFitness Gym will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the gym floor.
• This individual will oversee gym activities, monitor equipment usage, ensure member satisfaction, and lead a team of trainers, cleaners, and front-desk staff to deliver exceptional service to all gym-goers.
• The ideal candidate must live in Gbagada or nearby areas, as their presence is required six days a week, with flexibility for evening and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:

• Oversee the daily operations on the gym floor, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all members.
• Monitor equipment usage and maintenance, promptly addressing any malfunctions or damages.
• Ensure that the gym’s policies and standards are upheld at all times by both staff and members.
• Manage opening and closing routines to ensure the gym is prepared for operations each day.

Team Supervision:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of trainers, front-desk staff, and cleaners on the floor.
• Conduct regular staff briefings to communicate updates, daily goals, and any special instructions.
• Assist in training new staff members on gym protocols, customer service, and operational procedures.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to maintain high standards.

Member Engagement:

• Engage with members to build positive relationships, answer queries, and ensure their satisfaction with the facility and services.
• Address and resolve any member complaints or concerns professionally, escalating issues to the General Manager when necessary.
• Ensure members comply with gym rules, such as proper equipment usage, safety protocols, and gym etiquette.

Safety and Cleanliness:

• Conduct regular floor inspections to maintain cleanliness and orderliness.
• Enforce safety protocols, including the proper handling and storage of gym equipment.
• Ensure sanitization and cleanliness of the gym floor, locker rooms, and rest areas are maintained throughout the day.
• Implement health and safety regulations and address any hazards immediately.

Reporting:

• Prepare weekly reports on gym floor activities, including member feedback, maintenance needs, and staff performance.
• Track inventory and request supplies as needed, ensuring all areas are well-stocked and prepared.
• Report any equipment or facility issues promptly to the General Manager.

Event Coordination:

• Assist with planning and organizing gym events, such as fitness challenges, member appreciation days, or special workout sessions.
• Ensure smooth execution of events and manage member participation effectively.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within a fitness or hospitality environment.
• Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Location: Must reside in Gbagada or surrounding areas to ensure availability and punctuality.
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods, as well as moving and organizing gym equipment as required.

Work Schedule:

• Days: 6 days a week.
• Hours: Flexible schedule including evening shifts; must be available to work weekends.

Salary Range
N150,000 - N200,000 / Month (based on experience and qualifications).
