Job Purpose
Cordros Securities Limited needs an experienced Research Analyst in the firm who is responsible for producing research reports which analyze data related to financial markets, and make recommendations for internal and external clients of the business.
A Research Analyst is quantitative, analytical, logical, and good at managing numbers and data.
Objectives of this role:
To provide high-quality, actionable equity research through in-depth financial analysis and well-supported investment recommendations that guide portfolio decisions.
To develop and maintain accurate financial models and deliver timely research reports, ensuring alignment with market trends and client needs.
To build strong relationships with stakeholders including company management and institutional investors, to enhance research insights and support informed investment strategies.
Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth financial analysis of companies by evaluating financial statements, earnings reports, and key performance indicators to assess overall business health and trends.
Build and maintain complex financial models to project company performance, including revenue growth, earnings, and cash flow forecasts.
Perform comprehensive industry research by staying up-to-date with market conditions, sector developments, and macroeconomic factors affecting industry outlook.
Prepare and publish detailed equity research reports with actionable investment recommendations (buy, hold, sell) based on thorough company analysis and valuation.
Monitor relevant market news and events that may impact companies under coverage, providing timely updates and insights.
Present findings and investment recommendations to internal and external stakeholders, including institutional investors and portfolio managers.
Collaborate with investment teams to provide research-based insights for informed decision-making on portfolio strategies.
Engage with company management by attending earnings calls, meetings, and conferences to gather key insights and enhance research depth.
Participate in the company's roadshows, conference calls, and telemarketing.
Perform other related duties or tasks as may be required
Job Requirements
Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Also, possession of relevant professional qualifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIS and other relevant certifications, or identifiable progress in pursuit of these certifications will be an added advantage.
Work Experience:
Minimum of three years' work experience in Economic and Financial Research within the Capital Market.

Monday – Friday (8am – 5pm).
