Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Ogijo, Ogun

Position Summary
The Project Manager will oversee and manage various waterproofing and construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
The Project Manager will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management:
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress, make adjustments as necessary, and ensure timely completion.
Planning, coordinating and managing all phases of construction projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closeout.
Establishing project objectives, scope and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and ensuring alignment with client requirements. Developing and managing project schedules, budgets and resource allocations to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
Liaising with architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors to monitor construction progress, resolve issues and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Managing procurement processes, including bid evaluations, contract negotiations and vendor selection.
Oversee project budgeting and cost control and manage change orders to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Conducting regular site inspections to assess project progress, identify risks, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Maintain effective communication with project team members and stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns and foster strong working relationships.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Coordination:
Lead and manage project teams, including internal staff and subcontractors.
Assign tasks, set expectations, and monitor performance to ensure high-quality work.
Budget and Cost Management:
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and within the approved limits.
Identify and address any financial risks or discrepancies promptly.
Quality Control and Safety:
Ensure all work complies with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Provide regular status reports to senior management and clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), COREN, H.S E Certification or equivalent are preferred.
Requirement & Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on waterproofing projects.
Strong ability to use AutoCAD and Microsoft project management
Professional Certifications is also an added advantage.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Auyocad).
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and industry best practices.
Knowledge of waterproofing systems, techniques, and products.
Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on collaboration and motivation.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions promptly.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
