Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The Business Development officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving the company's growth.
  • The role requires developing business strategies and working collaboratively with other departments and clients to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and implement growth plans.
  • Act as the point of contact for clients, addressing their queries and concerns.
  • Assist in developing an execution of tailored solutions and proposals that meet the needs of clients in the industry.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Analyze industry trends and market conditions to inform business strategies.
  • Monitor competitors and identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Drive sales of our products and services.
  • Support the development and execution of business plans to achieve growth targets.
  • Work closely with the internal and external teams to identify customer needs and market trends.
  • Identify and pursue new sales leads and prospects.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue goals.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of business development activities and client interactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development, progress and outcomes

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or related role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Salary
