Greenville has the facility to produce LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) and the logistics to supply the LNG to all locations across Nigeria. Greenville has the capability and proven track of erecting storages and allied facilities at the customer end. The aim of Greenville is to produce and deliver gas to all parts of Nigeria for existing industries and to revive shutdown/crippled Industries due to lack of power or lack of competitive power supply options.
Provide technical support for project unit’s operation readiness, pre-commissioning and commissioning including start-up philosophy and spare part requirements.
Planning & supervision of installation of all new (industrial) electrical equipment and accessories, especially at CNG filling station/customer stations, and Kaduna workshop: LNG dispensers/equipment area, Air compressors, High mast lights, LV panels, PLC cabinets, overhead cranes, generator sets, truck washing machines, tire changers, borewells submersible pumps.
Develop coherent electric equipment specification and data sheet like EHV GIS/AIS Switchgear, Power Transformers, large synchronous/induction motors, HV/LV Switchgears and Control gears, EHV/HV/LV Cables, Bus ducts, EHV GIBs, UPS, Battery Charger, NGR and Panel boards requirement.
Participate in Electrical Power system studies including Short Circuit, Load Flow analysis, Motor starting, Arc Flash Hazard, Relay coordination and setting using ETAP software.
Develop and review Single line diagrams, protection and metering schemes, motor schematics, Electrical Equipment layouts, plant cable routing layouts, lighting and grounding layouts, area classification drawings, substation automation architecture, synchronizing and bus changeover schemes.
Provides guidance on standards development through technical committee participation. Interprets standards, industry codes (such as NFPA, ANSI IEEE, IEC, API, NEC and NACE) and recommends changes to reduce costs associated with overly stringent requirements.
Develop and implements strategies and programs to enhance plant availability and to reduce operating and maintenance costs; this includes the application of new technology
Participate in petrochemical unit’s process optimization and synergy between refinery and petrochemical
Provide critical electric equipment design review, assessments, RFI’s response, scope of work, vender selection, instruments automation packages, and technology evaluation.
Review and update refinery and petrochemical redline drawings. Provide technical support for capital projects involving petrochemical units at various stages of the project life cycle (pre-feasibility, feasibility, Pre-feed, feed basic design, detailed engineering and construction).
Researching new technologies, innovative smart sensing solutions, regulations, and other factors that may affect business model and reliability.
Strong experience in gas integration strategies, competitiveness and benchmarking
Conducting research on competitors to identify opportunities for new products.
Provide technical input to LP and economics modeling and capital efficiency.
Provide insights and recommendations in the financial models output and ability to guide management to select the best configurations for LTC projects cases.
Deliver the tools, templates and systems to ensure the safe, passionately and flawlessly delivery of the project.
Liaison between Project Management and technical disciplines to achieve integration across all project disciplines.
Ensure scope, risk and interfaces are captured, manage Interfaces between internal and external parties and documented.
Participation in all project studies such as HAZOP, SIL Study and HSSE
Develop Construction System Turnover plan for Project
Develop system-level sensor architecture design with hardware and software interfaces for various application.
Site visits for identifying and resolving constraints before commissioning for the purpose of easy commissioning of some new customer stations.
Interpretation of electrical drawings and modification on AutoCAD when necessary.
Preparing Electrical BOQ and providing specifications for replacement parts or the equivalent for such.
Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 10 years' experience in detailed engineering design, construction and commissioning of electrical works for large refinery / gas projects / power /Infrastructure projects in similar position.
Fully familiar with international codes, standards and recommended practices standards like ANSI, IEEE, IEC, NEC, ISA, NEMA, CSA, UL, API, etc as well as area classification techniques as per NEC.
Experience in electrical design using Smart Plant Electrical.
Expertise in high, medium and low voltage systems.
General knowledge of other related disciplines.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks.
Effective oral and written communications and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with the design team in the resolution of project related issues.
Must be self-motivated, results oriented, and be flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast paced multi-disciplinary team environment
