Job Title: Sales Representative / Social Media Handler

Location: Mafoluku, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

Job Description

  • We are seeking a goal oriented, hardworking,creative, and proactive Sales Representative / Social Media Handler in a Cargo Logistics Company In Mafoluku to join the team.
  • As a Sales Representative & Social Media Handler, you will be responsible for generating sales, managing client relationships, and driving brand awareness through social media.
  • You will act as the face of the company to prospective and existing clients, promoting our cargo logistics solutions. Additionally, you will manage our social media presence to engage potential clients, boost our brand image, and support marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to generate leads and convert them into clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Conduct presentations, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts with potential clients.
  • Identify, engage and onboard new partners and clients to expand the company’s portfolio.
  • Track and report on sales metrics, maintaining an organized record of all interactions.
  • Collaborate with the operations and logistics team to ensure client needs are met efficiently.
  • Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adapt sales strategies as necessary.
  • Engage with our social media audience by responding to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely manner.
  • Create high-quality, engaging, and original content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter Whats app and other platforms.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications and incorporate them into our strategy.
  • Plan and manage a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in social media and content marketing.
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with the company’s goals to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of OND / HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field
  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative or Sales and Marketing, preferably in the logistics , shipping or related industry.
  • Ability to set monthly Profit Target from secured deals.
  • Hands-on experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and client management skills.
  • Ability to secure new partnerships monthly and maintaining consistent business relationships
  • Proficiency in social media content creation and engagement.
  • Ability to meet sales targets and work under minimal supervision.
  • Basic knowledge of logistics operations is an advantage.
  • Must be tech-savvy and proactive.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent reporting skills and attention to detail.

Sales Targets:

  • Deliver a minimum of N2,000,000 monthly profit from new partnerships and clients.
  • Monitor the shipping needs of partners to ensure high customer retention and consistent sales growth.

Salary
N80,000 Monthly (To be reviewed every 3months based on performance).
