Job Summary

• The Business Development manager is expected to develop and execute strategies to increase company sales and profits, handle the organizations’ brand recognition and expand financial growth.
• Also, to create marketing strategies based on business opportunities to meet and exceed company’s goals.
• The Business Development officer coordinates with company executives and sales & marketing professionals to review current market trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and promote existing products:Develop new products and services to meet the needs of existing clients
• Identify growth opportunities:Analyze financial data and market research to identify opportunities for growth
• Create and implement strategies:Develop marketing strategies to meet revenue goals, work with executives to implement marketing strategies and new opportunities
• Build relationships and attend events:Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and vendors. Also, he or she attends conferences and events on behalf of the business
• Pitch ideas:Develop and pitch ideas for potential investors
• Track expenses and minimise costs:Track expenses and maintain the company budget, implement strategies to minimize operating costs and increase profits

Requirements

• Education: Minimum of HND or bachelor’s degree in any Sales or related discipline or field.
• Years of experience: Minimum of 2-3 years work experience as Business Development Officer.
• Excellent knowledge in Google Application package, Microsoft Office Suites and CRM tools/software.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Good organisation and time management skills.
• Effective communication; proficiency in English language-verbal and written.
• Outstanding leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to details.

Salary
