Job Title: Strategy and Partnership Lead

Job Summary
As we expand our footprint, we are seeking an innovative and results-driven Strategy and Partnership Lead to enhance our strategic initiatives and partnership development in the EdTech sector.
The successful candidate will be crucial in identifying growth opportunities both locally and globally while driving business success through strategic planning and collaboration.
Responsibilties
Research and Analysis:
Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify growth opportunities in the EdTech sector, both locally and globally.
Leverage market data to inform strategies that align with industry trends and customer needs.
Strategy Development and Implementation:
Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to drive business success across various domains, including marketing, branding, pricing, and product development.
Ensure alignment with organizational goals while adapting to market changes.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Collaborate with key departments such as technology, communications, finance, and legal to ensure the successful implementation of strategies.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency.
Market Monitoring:
Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, competitor actions, and industry best practices.
Stay ahead of the curve by adapting strategies based on insights gathered from these analyses.
Business Opportunity Identification:
Identify new business opportunities and work closely with the sales team to convert leads into successful partnerships.
Develop actionable plans to close deals that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
Performance Assessment:
Assess the company’s operational and strategic performance by providing data-driven insights and recommendations for improvement.
Use metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
Funding Frameworks Development:
Create frameworks to prepare for funding rounds, focusing on sourcing and securing grants and non-equity-based funding opportunities in the USA, UK, Europe, and other global markets.
Partnership Growth Initiatives:
Drive public and private partnerships aimed at fostering growth across B2G (Business-to-Government), B2C (Business-to-Consumer), and B2B (Business-to-Business) sectors.
Concept Note Development:
Craft professionally written concept notes that clearly articulate project ideas to potential stakeholders and funders.
This includes outlining project objectives, methodologies, expected outcomes, and budgetary considerations.
Strategic Direction Contribution:
Contribute to the company’s strategic direction and vision as a key member of the leadership team.
Participate in high-level discussions to shape the future trajectory of Talent Code Africa.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Finance, or a related field; an MBA Degree is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic partnership development or business strategy within the EdTech sector or related industries.
Proven track record of driving growth through successful partnerships.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with proficiency in market research methodologies.
Excellent communication presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite (particularly Powerpoint) is essential.
Proficiency in data analytics tools, such as Excel, SQL, Python, etc
Proficient in project management tools and strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively across various departments while managing multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
