Victory Empowerment Centre (VEC) is a micro-finance Non Governmental Organization (NGO) with a prime objective of improving the living of the poor women through innovative and flexible micro-finance services.VEC provides small, repayable business loans and services for women and supports other poverty-reduction strategies in places where VEC can make a difference. Victory Empowerment Centre’s commitment is to education, to mutual communication, and to furthering the Nigeria’s effort to alleviate poverty./Victory Empowerment Centre methodology is based on international best practices in micro-finance delivery, and is essentially an adaptation of the Grooming People for Better Livelihood in Nigeria and International methodology to local market conditions.Victory Empowerment has various projects. Victory Empowerment Centre is planning to increase its Branch network in maority of the States in the uture, this is to further expand its network to reach more clients who are in need of our services and also extend this opportunity to other states.

Job Title: Branch Manager

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
Branch Managers ensure that all employees handle their customers’ activities in a fair, accurate and profitable way, following high ethical standards when carrying out financial transactions. Additional duties and responsibilities include:

• Providing consultation, counselling and guidance to employees in order to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ensuring sales targets are met, monitoring budgets and motivating staff to attain objectives
• Maintaining detailed computerised records and reporting all branch office activities and operations, including the performance of employees
• Communicating and collaborating with colleagues from other branch offices and meeting with clients to resolve complaints or issues and getting their feedback
• Building relationships with other branches and providing training and coaching to the branch’s team
• Overseeing financial reports for taxes, regulatory bodies and other financial institutions relating to branch finance
• Evaluating conditions of the local market, seeking new opportunities for sales and staying current with the market.

Requirements

• We are looking for an NYSC certified with a minimum experience of 3 years in management for the role of a Branch Manager in our organization.
• Must have the ability to multitask and loan drive effectively. Marketing skills and sales experience. Free 1 week training in the MFI setting. Accommodation available

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 / month.
Weekly field allowances
