We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Clinic Nurse

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Karu - Nasarawa
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients' physical and emotional needs through observation, interviewing and physical examination.
• Care Planning: Develop, implement and update personalized care plans addressing patients' specific needs.
• Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Wound Care: Provide wound cleaning, dressing and management.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Record and report vital signs, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure and oxygen saturation.
• Health Education: Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options and healthy practices.
• Collaboration: Work with physicians, assistants and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
• Electronic Health Records (EHRs): Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records.
• Infection Control: Implement infection prevention and control measures.
• Quality Improvement: Participate in quality initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
