Job Title: Bar Man

Location: Sangotedo, Ajah - Lagos

Job Summary

• The barman will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, engage with customers, and maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area.
• This role requires strong customer service skills, a solid knowledge of drink recipes, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Drink Preparation and Service:

• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to recipes.
• Ensure accurate pouring, mixing, and presentation of beverages.
• Serve customers promptly and manage multiple orders during busy periods.

Customer Service:

• Greet customers warmly and engage in friendly conversation.
• Take orders and recommend drinks based on customer preferences.
• Address customer concerns and provide excellent service to ensure a positive experience.

Inventory and Stock Management:

• Monitor stock levels and restock items as necessary.
• Report shortages, broken items, or inventory needs to the manager.
• Assist in bar inventory control and waste reduction.

Bar Maintenance and Cleanliness:

• Clean bar area, including counters, floors, and equipment.
• Wash and sanitize glassware and utensils.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Compliance and Safety:

• Check IDs to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption.
• Comply with local and company regulations regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages.
• Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible drinking.

Skills and Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in bartending or mixology is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of drink recipes and bartending techniques.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
