Lebokehn Realties, a real estate company located in Victoria Island, Lagos, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Event Coordinator

Location: Calabar. Cross River
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities
Consultation and Planning:

• Meet with clients to understand their vision, preferences, budget, and expectations for the wedding.
• Prepare and manage a timeline for the wedding planning process, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.

Vendor Coordination:

• Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, including florists, caterers, photographers, musicians, decorators, and rental companies.
• Schedule and attend meetings with vendors and oversee vendor contracts and agreements.
• Serve as the main point of contact for vendors on the day of the event, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.

Budget Management:

• Work within the client’s budget, providing cost estimates and tracking expenses throughout the planning process.
• Help clients make budget-conscious decisions while maintaining quality and experience.

Logistics and Organization:

• Develop detailed event schedules, including timelines for setup, ceremony, reception, and teardown.
• Coordinate transportation, accommodations, and other travel logistics for guests and bridal parties.

On-Site Event Management:

• Oversee the setup and breakdown of the event, ensuring everything adheres to the agreed-upon plan.
• Address any last-minute changes, troubleshooting issues that may arise during the event.
• Ensure the couple and guests are comfortable and supported throughout the day.

Customer Service and Support:

• Offer support and guidance to clients, answering questions, and providing creative solutions.
• Be available on the day of the event to assist clients and guests, ensuring their experience is smooth and stress-free.

Post-Event Coordination:

• Manage final vendor payments and budget reconciliation.
• Obtain feedback from clients to evaluate the success of the event and gather suggestions for improvement.
• Assist in collecting and returning any rented items after the event.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Event Coordinator, Wedding Planner, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of event planning, vendor management, and wedding industry trends.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Flexible schedule, with availability on weekends and evenings.
• Proficiency in event management software or Microsoft Office Suite.
• Location is Calabar

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
