Job Title: Administrative Officer / Front Desk

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (Tuesdays to Saturdays)

Description

  • Our client is seeking to hire a skilled Administrative Officer/Front Desk Personnel with a passion for art to oversee and lead the gallery's daily operations.
  • She will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all gallery activities, coordinating events and programs, and managing relationships with staff and stakeholders.
  • The Administrative Officer will play a pivotal role in enhancing visitor experiences while implementing administrative policies and procedures..

Key Responsibilities

  • ⁠Manage inventory and sales of artworks, support all aspects of the gallery’s exhibitions, liaise with artists and contracts.
  • Provide arts management support for gallery operations, including web publishing, media, diary, purchases and advertising,
  • Ensure quality service to stakeholders, including staff, partners, sponsors, and visitors.
  • Support stakeholder engagement, event coordination, and collection management.
  • Assist with budget planning and resource allocation for various programs and events, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors, handling inquiries, and providing information about exhibits and programs.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any course and any art-related field would be an advantage.
  • 3+ years of work experience in customer success, and administrative experience in a related industry is preferable
  • A deep passion for art would be an added advantage
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (very important)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a creative and innovative approach to addressing customer challenges.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
  • Gender: Female.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 (based on experience)
