Job Summary
As the Government & Public Relations Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping CIG E-Mobility's public image and driving brand awareness. You will develop and execute strategic PR campaigns that align with our business objectives and enhance our reputation.
You will also play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the government relations strategy for our organization.
You will work closely with government officials, policymakers, and other stakeholders to advocate for the organization's interests and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic PR Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies that support the business goals and enhance our brand visibility.
Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers. Secure positive media coverage and manage media inquiries effectively.
Government Relations Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive government affairs strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and priorities.
Policy Analysis: Monitor legislative and regulatory proposals at the local, state, and federal levels, and provide in-depth analysis of their potential impact on the organization.
Crisis Communication: Develop and execute crisis communication plans to address potential challenges and protect the company’s reputation.
Brand Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that highlight brand’s unique value proposition, innovation, and impact on the community.
Social Media Engagement: Oversee the management of our social media presence, and driving consistent engagement with our target audience.
Event Management: Provide strategic advice on PR-related events, including press conferences, product launches, and industry conferences.
Measurement and Analysis: Track PR metrics, analyze campaign effectiveness, and provide insights to inform future strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Public Administration or any related field.
Minimum of 10 years experience in PR or corporate communications, with a focus on technology or transportation industries.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR campaigns.
In-depth knowledge of relevant government policies and a demonstrated ability to analyze and communicate complex policy matters.
Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with government officials, policymakers, and industry stakeholders.
Strong media relations skills and ability to build relationships with journalists.
Crisis communication experience and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital PR.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly and persuasively communicate the organization's positions to diverse audiences.
