Composite Construction is a leading Building and Construction Company based in Lagos with interest in Real Estate (residential, commercial, or industrial).

Job Title: Land Surveyor

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to assist in critical construction activities, including building alignment, leveling, and ensuring precision in site measurements.
• The ideal candidate will play a key role in our upcoming projects, working closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure the accuracy of land measurements and layout plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys to establish building alignment and elevation for construction projects.
• Perform accurate land measurements to determine property boundaries, building locations, and site layouts.
• Use a variety of surveying instruments such as GPS, total stations, and levels to collect data.
• Analyze and interpret survey data to assist in the planning and design stages.
• Prepare detailed reports, maps, and plans based on survey findings.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal, safety, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to provide technical advice regarding site conditions and land features.
• Identify discrepancies and advise on corrective measures for any issues affecting the construction site.
• Provide guidance on land development, ensuring all measurements align with the project’s architectural design and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a land surveyor in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in surveying software and tools such as AutoCAD, GPS, Total Station, and GIS systems.
• Excellent knowledge of land surveying regulations, codes, and standards.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina for fieldwork and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Preferred:

• Professional certification in land surveying.
• Experience with high-net-worth real estate or commercial property development projects.

Salary
N100,000 - N200,000 monthly.
