We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrician

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Responsibilities

• The electrician will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all store electrical appliances in the area and participate in installation work.

The specific requirements are as follows
Physical Condition:

• The electrician should have good physical fitness and be certified by a physician to have no health conditions that would impede their ability to work.

Safety Knowledge and Skills:

• The electrician must possess the necessary knowledge and skills for safe work practices, including first aid techniques for electric shocks.
• In the event of an emergency, they should be capable of performing self-rescue and mutual aid.

Electrical Knowledge and Professional Skills:

• The electrician should be familiar with electrical equipment and systems, and understand electrical principles and operating procedures.
• This includes knowledge of high voltage, low voltage, direct current, alternating current, and electronics technology.

Certification Required for Operation:

• Electricians must be certified before working independently.
• Those who have not undergone training or failed examinations are not permitted to operate equipment.
• This is a crucial measure to ensure workplace safety and to prevent accidents.

Safety Awareness:

• While performing tasks, electricians should maintain a high level of safety awareness, such as wearing insulated gloves and using insulated tools to prevent electric shock accidents.

Regulatory Compliance Awareness:

• Electricians should be familiar with the regulations and standards for electrical equipment maintenance and installation.
• They must not work on live equipment and should avoid operating equipment blindly when the parameters are unclear.

Emergency Response Capabilities:

• Electricians must have essential knowledge of electrical safety and fire prevention, and be able to perform emergency first aid for electric shocks and extinguish electrical fires.

Strict Adherence to Safety Procedures:

• During operations, electricians must strictly follow all safety procedures, including personnel requirements, site requirements, and operational measures.
