Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Officer

Job Summary
The HR Officer will manage day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and assist in implementing effective human resource programs.
The role involves recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring legal compliance in employment practices.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Coordinate the hiring process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and reference checks.
Prepare employment contracts and ensure new hires receive onboarding materials and proper orientation.
Manage new employee induction and training programs.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and complaints, providing resolution within company policies.
Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee issues and facilitating conflict resolution.
Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
HR Policies & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
Assist in updating HR policies and procedures as needed.
Ensure employee records are accurate, confidential, and updated.
Performance Management:
Monitor employee performance and work with managers on performance evaluations.
Assist in developing and maintaining performance management systems and tools.
Advise managers and staff on improving performance and productivity.
Training & Development:
Coordinate employee training programs, including arranging internal and external training.
Identify employee skill gaps and work with management to provide appropriate development opportunities.
Payroll & Benefits:
Support payroll processes by ensuring accurate employee data is maintained.
Administer employee benefits programs and answer any queries related to compensation and benefits.
Health, Safety, and Welfare:
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Promote a safe and healthy work environment.
HR Reporting:
Prepare reports on HR metrics such as turnover rates, recruitment statistics, and employee satisfaction levels.
Assist in the analysis of data to improve HR functions and employee retention.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2years of experience in HR or a related role.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
Personal Attributes:
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
