Job Title: HVAC Technician

Job Description

• We are looking for a skilled HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
• The HVAC Technician will be responsible for inspecting systems, identifying issues, and providing solutions to ensure optimal temperature control.
• The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable about HVAC systems, proficient in diagnostics and repairs, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• The role requires working with a variety of HVAC systems, such as air conditioners, heating systems, ventilation units, and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heating units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment, following blueprints or design specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure peak performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, such as electrical malfunctions, refrigerant leaks, or airflow problems, and perform necessary repairs.
• Test HVAC systems and their components to verify their functionality and safety.
• Install and repair ductwork, including sealing or insulating ducts to improve energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• OND/HND/B. Sc. Education.
• Completion of an HVAC technical training program or apprenticeship is required.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an HVAC technician or in a related role, with knowledge of various heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with HVAC tools and equipment, including testing devices
• Basic electrical and plumbing skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
