Job Description

• Our client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales Representative to join retail store in Surulere, Lagos.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with customers, promoting products, driving sales, and utilizing social media platforms and modern technology to enhance customer interactions and store visibility.
• This role is key in ensuring a delightful shopping experience for parents and children alike.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers in the store, providing product knowledge and recommendations to meet their needs.
• Sales Generation: Achieve individual sales targets by promoting store products, upselling, and cross-selling to maximize revenue.
• Social Media Management: Utilize social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp) to showcase products, answer customer inquiries, and drive online and in-store traffic.
• Technology Utilization: Use point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions, monitor inventory levels, and process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Product Display: Ensure merchandise is well-displayed and organized according to store standards, and contribute to visual merchandising efforts.
• Customer Service: Provide after-sales support, address customer complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Store Manager and other team members to maintain smooth store operations and meet overall store goals.
• Inventory Monitoring: Assist in stock management, ensuring products are restocked and well-organized on the shop floor.

Requirements

• Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in retail or children’s wares.
• Proficient in using social media platforms for business promotion.
• Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail technologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for customer service and working with children’s products.

Skills:

• Ability to create engaging social media content.
• Experience in retail marketing or promotions.
• Familiarity with modern technology
