Job Description

• The IT Support and Software Development Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support to users, troubleshooting issues, and developing software solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• This role requires a blend of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to users, addressing hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network, server, and software problems.
• Develop, test, and implement software applications to meet business needs.
• Maintain and update existing software applications and systems.
• Document technical procedures and create user manuals for software applications.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance system performance and user experience.
• Conduct training sessions for users on software applications and best practices.
• Monitor system performance and security, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) are a plus.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in IT support and software development.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Experience in developing and maintaining software applications.

Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Familiarity with database management (SQL, NoSQL).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of network protocols and security practices.
• Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
