Job Title: Volunteer Recruiter / Human Resources Associate
We are seeking passionate and motivated Volunteer Recruiters to join our team.
The ideal candidate is a greenhorn Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) with 0-2 years of experience in HR or talent acquisition.
This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in recruitment while contributing to a growing organization that operates across the six geo-political zones of Nigeria.
As a Volunteer Recruiter, you will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and recruiting top talent for our organization in one of the six geo-political zones (North Central, North East, North West, South East, South South, South West).
You will collaborate closely with the Gakanke Consulting team to meet our recruitment objectives in these regions.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the HR team to understand recruitment needs and strategies for each zone.
Source, screen, and interview candidates for various roles within the company.
Create job advertisements and manage the posting of vacancies on various platforms.
Develop and maintain relationships with candidates and stakeholders in your assigned zone.
Organize and coordinate recruitment events, both online and offline, as necessary.
Provide administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining candidate databases and reports.
Ensure compliance with company recruitment policies and practices.
Continuously monitor the recruitment process and provide feedback for improvements.
Qualifications and Skills
Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM).
0-2 years of experience in recruitment, human resources, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage recruitment activities remotely.
Familiarity with talent acquisition practices and recruitment tools is a plus.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Passion for learning, growth, and contributing to a purpose-driven organization.
